Automobiles in Germany's Town Found Marked with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Authorities mentioned they were notified by a man who found a car in Hanau smeared with reddish liquid

Roughly 50 automobiles have been smeared with what appears to be human blood in the German city of Hanau close to Frankfurt, police confirm law enforcement.

Cars, building surfaces and postboxes were defaced, sometimes with Nazi symbols, they announced in a release.

Law enforcement report they were notified late on Wednesday night, when a resident observed that a car in the Lamboy area of Hanau had been smeared with a red-colored liquid.

The fluid had been drawn in the pattern of a swastika, they added.

Officers then discovered multiple other marked cars and building exteriors in the nearby vicinity.

These symbols are prohibited in Germany under regulations outlawing the public exhibition of symbols from the Nazi era.

Police state initial examinations indicate the substance was likely human bodily fluid.

"Currently there is no clue as to its source; authorities are currently not aware of any physical harm in connection with the event," they commented.

Municipal representatives stated they were trying "to resolve the mystery" and have asked to the public for details.

An important representative stated the incident made him stunned and required to be addressed quickly.

"This event strikes at the core of Hanau and revives the trauma of the right-wing terrorist attack half a decade ago," he stated on a platform, recalling the murder of nine people by a shooter targeting people of foreign heritage in 2020.
